Dragana Novina, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC
Dragana Novina “Dee” is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a dual certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She presently treats children and adolescents, as well as adults and geriatrics with all their mental health needs.
Dee received her Master’s in family practice from Indiana Wesleyan University, then furthered her education at Purdue University, where she received her Master’s in psychiatry.
In hopes of achieving an optimal mental health approach, labs will be ordered routinely, evidence-based screening tools will be applied, physical exams will be performed, and patient-provider interviews to deliver the most optimal care.
Dee uses a cognitive behavioral approach, a traditional approach, as well as natural remedies to help clients achieve a positive balance in body and mind. Dee is able to recognize that diverse populations require individualized care. It is a collaborative effort between provider and patient to ensure all the patient’s needs are being fulfilled.
