Michele received her Nursing degree as well as a bachelors degree in Developmental Psychology from Purdue University and her Masters Degree in Adult Psychiatric Nursing from IUPUI in 2006.

She has been a practicing licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for 18 years working in both outpatient and inpatient care settings. She has been with Gerald Lewis & Associates since 2014, with offices in both Valparaiso and Merrillville Indiana.

Michele is Board Certified as a Psychiatric Mental health Clinical Nurse Specialist and is licensed to evaluate, diagnose and prescribe medication for a variety of mental health concerns as well as provide symptom focused psychotherapy.

Michele’s area of interest are Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Anxiety, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as well as depression and Autism, Spectrum Disorder.
